Poor hot and cold water performance? Some properties suffer from a poor water main delivery.

My Megaflo (unvented cylinder) system runs out of water in the shower when the toilet is flushed!
The same could also happen when you run a bath and a shower. That is because you haven't got enough water coming in from the road. Your installer should have checked the flow rate was significantly above 25 litres per minute before recommending an unvented hot and cold water system. We are amazed at the number of properties we see where a pressurised hot and cold water system has been promised to deliver amazing showers and fast bath fill performance, and it hasn't lived up to expectations. If you installer didn't measure the water flow and pressure before selling you an unvented system, he should have been riding a horse. My Combination boiler shower stops working when the washing machine fills up! Once again, the water supply to a combination boiler makes all the difference to the system usability. Many houses are converted to combination boilers and have all taps switched to direct mains water supplies, without the water supply performance being measured first. The result is showers that stop working when the washine machine fills up. Baths and Shower pressure – Hotel quality When you visit a hotel, you expect gushing showers, and fast filling baths. If the shower stopped working properly when the chef opened the sink tap, or the shower made a noise that woke up everyone else in the building, you’d complain.
