Vaillant boiler kills bills in East Croydon
Our customer had a large detached house in East Croydon, Surrey. Their existing boiler (an old Ideal Mexico open flued unit) was located in a cupboard in one of the reception rooms, taking up lots of room and making the roof uncomfortably warm in the summer. As far as our customer was concerned, there was only one place for his new boiler, and that was the roof space. A mixture of old and new
Our customer was a couple in South Godstone. Their house was an unusual stables conversion, comprising three buildings arranged around a courtyard, in a ‘U’ shape. Keeping the house warm was a struggle in the past, and the room used as the lounge, with superb views over rolling farmland, was the coldest room in the house. It had three external walls, some skylights, and was probably the furthest from the boiler.
